MY HOUSE IS NOT ON MAINS DRAINAGE (CESSPIT?)

If you are not connected to the main sewer then you will have one of the following drainage systems;-

  1. A septic tank and soakaway
  2. A sewage treatment plant
  3. A sealed cesspool

A Sealed Cesspool (Cesspit)

The term “cesspit” is often used to describe one of the above systems and it is important to clarify which system you have. The common term cesspit is often refers to a tank in the garden.

We can arrange to visit any site and survey the drainage. We can then advise you about the operation and condition of the system, what is your “cesspit”? Does it need a repair?
